As the Gulf Arab and Middle East region experiences a period of high instability, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad is taking full measures to protect the Tunisian diaspora.
Yesterday, on March 2, 2026, Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, chaired an online meeting with the heads of Tunisian diplomatic and consular missions accredited to the affected countries, according to the ministry's official statement. He was accompanied by the Secretary of State and several ministry officials. The goal was to assess the level of preparedness of each mission and define the necessary preventive measures in light of recent developments.

- The Minister emphasized the need for vigilance and called for constant communication with the Tunisian community abroad and close coordination with local authorities.
- Emergency plans have been revised and adapted to allow for a rapid response in case of need, ensuring the safety and protection of Tunisian interests.
- Mohamed Ali Nafti made a solemn appeal to all Tunisians residing in risk zones to exercise caution, follow local authority instructions, and register with diplomatic and consular missions if not already done.

- The Ministry's crisis cell operates 24/7, providing real-time monitoring and continuous coordination with foreign missions.
