Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Announces Launch of New Life Assistant Training Program
The Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Riadh Chaoued, has officially announced the launch of a new life assistant training program at the level of a professional technician certificate. This training program will be offered in both public and private vocational training establishments.
Meeting the Growing Needs of Special Care
This initiative aims to respond to the growing needs of caring for individuals with specific needs, including the elderly, chronically ill, autistic children, and people with disabilities. The program combines theoretical teaching with practical internships, in collaboration with training centers and healthcare and social institutions.
Collaborative Approach Praised
The President of the National Chamber of Private Vocational Training Structures, Rached Chelly, has hailed this collaborative approach, emphasizing the need to adapt training to current economic and social realities.
A Significant Step Forward for Vocational Training in Tunisia
He highlighted that this new curriculum constitutes an important step forward in the development of the vocational training sector in Tunisia, reinforcing the social role of the State and diversifying the offer to better meet the requirements of the national and international labor market. This project relies on multi-sectoral coordination involving the Ministries of Health, Social Affairs, Family, Women, Children, and the Elderly, UTICA, Swisscontact, and a significant number of officials from the Ministry of Employment and concerned structures.
