Minister of Economy and Planning Reaffirms State's Commitment to Supporting Private Investors

The Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafid, reiterated on Monday, in a statement to the TAP agency in Nabeul, the state's firm commitment to overcoming the obstacles faced by private investors, with the aim of stimulating investment and creating new jobs. This commitment is part of a broader approach to supporting entrepreneurship and economic growth in the country.

During a working visit to Bouargoub, the minister expressed the ministry's availability to resolve the issues hindering the implementation of the strategic project of the Hached industrial zone, a large-scale project located in Bouargoub, covering an area of 82 hectares. Abdelhafid specified that the first two phases of this project have mobilized investments of around 30 million dinars (MD), demonstrating its economic potential.

The establishment of this industrial zone represents a crucial lever for the region's economic growth, creating nearly 10,000 new jobs. Furthermore, it is expected to offer a favorable environment for business development, particularly in key sectors, while contributing to the diversification of the local industrial fabric. The minister emphasized that this project is a concrete example of the government's commitment to supporting investment, particularly in the country's interior regions, in order to promote more inclusive and balanced growth.
