Ministry of Economy and Planning Commits to Ensuring Fair Investment Distribution Across Regions
The Ministry of Economy and Planning is committed to ensuring a fair distribution of investments across different regions.
Minister of Economy, Samir Abdelhafidh, emphasized this approach on Thursday, in response to questions from members of the National Council of Regions and Districts.
The focus is on strengthening investments, in close collaboration with other government agencies. This strategy, launched for the 2023-2025 period, has already enabled the rationalization of administrative authorizations necessary for economic activities, with the elimination of 135 formalities, including 58 that have already been executed or are in the process of being abolished.
This process aims to simplify access to activities and attract more investments.
Improving the entrepreneurial environment also involves a complete review of specifications, an initiative that has begun with a first phase covering around fifty of them.
This initiative should not only streamline procedures but also encourage growth in targeted sectors.
In parallel, the Ministry reaffirms its willingness to collaborate with the Council to develop a new development plan, integrating the new administrative map and responding to the specific needs of each region.
