You may have understood, Morocco is becoming the new hub for Chinese automotive equipment manufacturers. The latest news: Jiangsu Yunyi Electric, a specialist in electronic components for cars, has decided to invest $66 million (approximately 191.4 million Tunisian dinars) to establish itself in Tangier. Yes, $66 million! The group's board of directors gave its approval on December 30, 2025, to end the year on a high note.
The Project
The project involves building a 100% Moroccan factory in the Tanger Tech industrial zone to produce sensors, regulators, motors, and other electronic wonders that power our cars. The Chinese company's vision is to approach Europe, Africa, and even North America, while taking advantage of the local workforce and free trade agreements.
