Morocco Ranks Second in Africa's Best Education Systems in 2025

According to the latest ranking published by the pan-African platform The African Exponent, Morocco has secured the second position among the best education systems in Africa in 2025.

The Kingdom occupies the 55th place globally, behind Egypt and ahead of several East and West African countries.

In Africa, North African countries such as Egypt, Tunisia, and Algeria continue to dominate, with ambitious reforms and investments in teacher training, digital infrastructure, and equal access to education. East and West Africa are not lagging behind, with Kenya and Ghana adopting skill-based curricula and leveraging digital technologies to enrich the learning experience.

This ranking, which takes into account the quality of education, access, teacher training, and pedagogical innovations, shows that several African nations are achieving high results without exorbitant budgets, but rather through stable policies, creativity, and sustained commitment to sustainable educational reforms.
