Morocco Reaches New Tourist Milestone
Morocco has just reached a new tourist milestone, welcoming 7.2 million visitors by the end of May 2025. This is excellent news, representing 1.3 million more people than during the same period in 2024, a 22% increase. Even more impressive, it's a 68% increase compared to 2019!
With summer on the horizon, Morocco is expected to break even more records. This confidence stems from a richer tourist offering, better air connections, as well as regained trust among travelers.
These results are not a coincidence. They validate the tourism strategy put in place by the government, under the impetus of King Mohammed VI, who has invested intelligently in this sector. The country is fully benefiting from its 2023-2026 roadmap, which aims to improve its attractiveness by strengthening flights, targeting international promotion, and diversifying activities offered to tourists. The objective is ambitious: to reach 26 million tourists by 2030.
