New Investment in Tunisia: Swedish Group Borgstena Launches Site in Bizerte
The Swedish group Borgstena has recently launched its site in Aousja, within the Bizerte zone, showcasing another example of Tunisia's attractiveness. This strategic investment, dedicated to technical textiles for the automotive industry, has not gone unnoticed.
According to a statement, Ambassador Cecilia Wramsten made an official visit to the new site, where she exchanged with the on-site teams and Paulo Meireles. She praised the investment, which demonstrates confidence in Tunisian skills and the country's proximity to major European markets.
This establishment is no coincidence. As early as 2024, a meeting had taken place between the group's representatives and Jalel Tebib, Director General of the FIPA (Foreign Investment Promotion Agency). Several field visits followed, marking a gradual anchoring in Tunisia.
Beyond the investment, the embassy is committed to supporting the modernization and sustainability of the Tunisian textile industry. This cooperation, which is being strengthened, brings new perspectives for both countries.
