The Tunisian government has confirmed its attractiveness to European industrialists, particularly in the automotive sector. From February 2 to 6, 2026, the Italian group ARGOMM will conduct a prospecting visit to examine the conditions for creating an industrial unit specializing in technical rubber components, mainly for the automotive sector.

The delegation, led by Alessandro Mondini and Marco Rossetti, will visit several strategic industrial zones, including Menzel Bourguiba, Enfidha, and El Fahs, with the goal of identifying sites that meet the technical and logistical requirements of the project. This mission is part of an in-depth analysis of Tunisia's industrial potential, both in terms of infrastructure and positioning in international value chains.

On February 2, the Italian delegation was received at the FIPA-Tunisia headquarters by its General Director, Jalel Tebib. The discussions focused on the investment climate, regulatory environment, and opportunities offered by Tunisia in high-value-added industrial sectors. Jalel Tebib highlighted the importance of Italian investments in Tunisia's industrial fabric, emphasizing their structuring role in several manufacturing sectors. He also reaffirmed FIPA-Tunisia's availability to support ARGOMM Group in all aspects related to a potential establishment.
