Ghana Abolishes Visa Requirements for 54 African Countries Starting 2025
Ghana has decided to waive visa requirements for citizens of 54 African countries starting from 2025.
Following in the footsteps of Rwanda, Benin, Seychelles, and The Gambia, Ghana is becoming a visa-free country. This decision aims to boost trade and stimulate the economy.
However, Angola has chosen to grant visa-free access to citizens of only 14 countries: Tanzania, Eswatini, Morocco, Lesotho, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles, Cape Verde, and Algeria. Tunisia remains noticeably absent from Angola's list.
Much work remains to be done for Tunisia to strengthen its diplomatic exchanges with African countries, especially now that we reaffirm our integration into the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLECAF) and recognize the dynamism of African trade at its true value.
