Chinese Construction Giant CNBM to Invest in Tunisia
The Chinese construction materials giant, China National Building Material Group (CNBM), is preparing a new phase of investment in Tunisia. A delegation from the subsidiary Sinoma Cement Co., Ltd, led by its director Li Baoming, was received on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the headquarters of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia).
Investment Plans
Li Baoming confirmed CNBM's intention to move forward with its investment plans. The group plans to introduce intelligent control systems and advanced production technologies on the lines of CJO, its Tunisian subsidiary. According to a statement from FIPA-Tunisia, the stated objectives are:
