Délice Holding Announces First-Half 2024 Results
Unconsolidated Social Accounts Reveal Promising Figures
Délice Holding has released its unconsolidated social accounts for the first half of 2024. As a holding company, it receives dividends from its various subsidiaries and has no industrial activity of its own.
Dividend Breakdown
The total dividends received amounted to 58,382 MTND. STIAL was the largest contributor, with 26,870 MTND, followed closely by Centrale laitière du Cap Bon, which transferred 26,949 MTND to the parent company, compared to 8,264 MTND in the first half of 2023. Delta Plastic and Centrale laitière du Nord also made significant contributions, with 2,562 MTND and 2,000 MTND, respectively.
Management Fees and Charges
In addition to the dividends, the company incurred management fees of 1,675 MTND, which include studies and services provided to the group's entities. The total charges amounted to 58,651 MTND.
Net Result
The net result stood at 58,491 MTND.
Outlook
These figures bode well for the coming year, as the dividend is guaranteed, regardless of the consolidated account results in 2024. The holding company mechanism ensures that shareholders will receive in 2025 what the subsidiaries distributed to the parent company in 2024, in addition to the 2023 exercise.
Consolidated Financial Statements
Although the consolidated financial statements are yet to be published, the activity indicators have already revealed stability in revenue and production. The agri-food giant is thus heading towards a calm and profitable year. The stock is expected to be a defensive one, suitable for portfolio funds.
