The announcement was made following a meeting held on June 4 in Copenhagen between Mohamed Ali Nafti, Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his Danish counterpart, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, as part of a tour of Northern Europe.
This decision is perceived as a strong sign of Denmark's confidence in Tunisia, both for its role in the region and its prospects for cooperation."It's a strong commitment to deepen and expand the bilateral partnership," declared the Tunisian Minister.
