Support for Citizen Enterprises: Government Approves New Measures

During the ministerial meeting on June 20, the Council of Ministers approved several measures to support citizen enterprises. These measures aim to strengthen their financing, facilitate access to state-owned lands, and improve their supervision.

Reinforcing Financing and Guarantees

The Council decided to provide financing and guarantees for citizen enterprises. An amount of 20 million dinars has been allocated in the 2023 finance law, and another 20 million dinars is planned in the 2024 finance law.

Access to State-Owned Lands

Citizen enterprises will be able to operate on state-owned lands if the conditions are met. This will be possible thanks to the revision of existing legislative texts.

Creation of an Intersectoral Committee

An intersectoral committee has been created to monitor and supervise citizen enterprises. This committee is chaired by the Ministry of Economy and Planning and also includes the Ministry of the Interior and the Secretary of State in charge of Citizen Enterprises, under the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training. The committee will ensure the monitoring of citizen enterprises before and after their creation.
