Tunisian National Counter - CNT - Publishes 2024 Financial Statements
The Tunisian National Counter (CNT) has published its financial statements for 2024 financial year. The turnover stood at 41,546 MTND, a 36.9% decrease compared to 2023. As a specialized company in the equipment and development of living spaces and buildings, the gloominess in the real estate sector has impacted demand, explaining the significant drop in sales.
Operating Expenses
Operating expenses followed the same trend, decreasing from 61,995 MTND in 2023 to 40,106 MTND the following year. The operating result stood at 1,560 MTND, a 61.5% decrease.
Financial Charges
Financial charges decreased from 2,346 MTND in 2023 to 1,220 MTND in 2024. The CNT consumed fewer resources last year. The financial debt stood at 13,231 MTND at the end of the financial year, compared to 18,402 MTND in 2023, despite the need for working capital remaining stable at 28,242 MTND. Meanwhile, the Counter was able to generate more significant financial products, amounting to 0.639 MTND, thanks to participation products (0.411 MTND) and revenue from other claims (0.214 MTND).
Consolidated Results
At the consolidated level, the group's net result per share reached 0.188 MTND, compared to 1,602 MTND the previous year.
General Assembly
The Board of Directors has convened shareholders to an Ordinary General Assembly today, Friday, June 13. The dividend stands at 2,000 TND per share (nominal value of 5 TND) and is drawn from non-statutory reserves present in the equity as of December 31, 2013, making this remuneration exempt from the 10% source tax.
