National Tunisian Counter (CNT) Sees Significant Drop in Net Profit for 2023

The National Tunisian Counter (CNT) has recorded a remarkable decline in its net profit for the 2023 fiscal year, reaching 1.77 million dinars compared to 4.87 million dinars in 2022, representing a 63.57% decrease.

As of December 31, 2023, the financial statements show a total balance of 93.29 million dinars. The gross operating surplus has also decreased, standing at 5.34 million dinars in 2023 compared to 7.74 million dinars the previous year.

Despite these declines, the CNT's turnover has experienced a notable 20% increase, reaching 65.86 million dinars in 2023. However, this growth in turnover was not enough to offset the decline in profits.
