National Business Register (RNE) Reminds Companies of Upcoming Deadline for Financial Statement Submission
The National Business Register (RNE) has reminded legal entities that the deadline for submitting financial statements and the auditor's report for the 2024 fiscal year is set for July 31, 2025. This can be done online, without the need for physical presence at the offices. The submission fee is approximately 50 TND.
Penalties for Late Submission
Late submissions will incur penalties of 50% of the submission fee, amounting to 25 TND per month, or fraction of a month.
Required Documents
The submission dossier must include:
- Financial statements
- Declaration of modification form
- List of associates or shareholders
- Auditor's report (if applicable)
- Minutes of the General Assembly (if applicable)
Post-Submission Procedure
Once uploaded to the platform, it is essential to regularly check the account for notifications of non-compliance. The company has a 60-day window to respond to notifications. Failure to do so within this timeframe will result in penalties.
RNE: A Valuable Source of Information
The RNE has become an indispensable source for accessing up-to-date information on clients or suppliers. The evaluation of counterparty risk, currently at its peak, requires information that is often refused. However, this information is not yet available for all operators, and only balance sheets from two or three previous fiscal years can be found. If update deadlines are shortened, the RNE will transform into a central hub for enterprise risk management, seeking good risks.
