Tunisia Global Forum 2026: Building the Future in the Era of AI
The Association of Tunisians from Grandes Écoles (Atuge) is pleased to announce the Tunisia Global Forum (TGF) on July 21, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Tunis.
Theme: Building the Future in the Era of AI
The event aims to mobilize talents and energies around the historic opportunity and urgent need for action represented by artificial intelligence. To translate these reflections into concrete actions for Tunisia, the forum will be the occasion to publish a white paper dedicated to AI, written by a strategic committee composed of experts and entrepreneurs at the forefront of AI-related transformations in Tunisia and worldwide.
Highlights of the Event
The official opening will highlight the dimension of international cooperation, with the presence of Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad. The TGF program proposes a multidimensional approach through a series of conferences and panels that will explore the issues of sovereignty and governance, the development of digital and energy infrastructure, as well as the necessary training and transformation of professions.
Debates and Discussions
The debates will also explore ways to better valorize scientific research, promote open-innovation between startups and companies, and accelerate the transformation of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and business environment to keep pace with the opportunities and challenges of AI.
Innovations and Competitions
This 2026 edition stands out with major innovations designed to confront theory with practice. The TGF will honor the finalists of the "Automate or Disappear" AI Hackathon, co-organized with CJD Tunis Horizon, which challenges students from Tunisia and the diaspora to imagine and prototype innovative business automation solutions. In parallel, the forum will host the final of the TGF AI Awards, where 27 finalists will defend their projects on stage in a competition that rewards excellence in research, deeptech, and startups.
Closing Session
The closing session promises to be just as strategic, with an intervention by Mehdi Houas, who has just been elected to head Numeum, the main digital employers' union in France. This closing session will also include a keynote by Mustapha Ferjani, Minister of Health, a choice motivated by the fact that health is one of the sectors offering the most promising applications for artificial intelligence in Tunisia.
Diaspora Month
The Tunisia Global Forum is the culmination of a series of activities under the umbrella of Diaspora Month, which takes place from July 15 to August 15, 2026. This initiative, organized as part of the World Alliance of Tunisian Talents, aims to transform the summer period, traditionally marked by returns to the country, into a real time of reconnection between Tunisian talents from around the world and the country's economic actors and development challenges.
Regional Networking
This willingness to have a national impact is illustrated by the Diaspora Regional Networkings (DRN), a series of meetings aimed at forging lasting collaborations in several key cities such as Sfax, Sousse, Hammamet, Bizerte, Gabès, Béja, and Djerba.
