Arab Capital Markets to Converge in Tunis in May 2025
During a press conference held on January 15, 2025, by the BVMT, its General Director, Bilel Sahnoun, announced that the Arab capital markets will gather in Tunis in May 2025 for their general assembly. The event will not only bring together participants from Arab countries but also from Asia and the West. This will provide Tunisian investors with the opportunity to broaden their horizons and seize new opportunities.
The announced agenda for the general assembly of the Arab Federation of Capital Markets will notably cover:
- Derivative products
- Cryptocurrencies
- Sustainability-related issues (ESG) and sustainable development
- Corporate governance
- Modern technologies, including artificial intelligence
Bilel Sahnoun emphasized the importance of this meeting for Tunisia, which will consequently strengthen its position in the global financial landscape and boost the growth of its capital market.
