Approval of the Land Management Bill
The Agriculture and Food Security Committee approved, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Bill No. 48 of 2024 related to the management of state-owned lands, after a session dedicated to examining and voting on its articles.
In fact, the session began with the consultation of the opinions of the Committee on Administrative Organization and Governance, as well as the Committee on Strategic Planning and Sustainable Development, Infrastructure, and Land Development. The deputies examined the bill's articles in detail and proposed several amendments. After the debates, the committee decided to modify the title of the bill to make it an ordinary law, in accordance with Article 75 of the Constitution, to revise four out of eleven articles, to add a new article, and to reject two proposed articles. The amended bill was adopted by a majority of the members present.
