GreenTECH Tunisia Initiative Extends Application Deadline to October 12, 2025
The GreenTECH Tunisia initiative, which supports innovative startups and SMEs committed to ecological transition, has extended the application deadline to October 12, 2025. This announcement was made by the Caisse des dépôts et consignations, responsible for implementing the program.
Objective of GreenTECH Tunisia
GreenTECH Tunisia aims to encourage the development of innovative projects in key areas of the green economy:
- Renewable energies
- Sustainable mobility
- Water management
- Recycling
- Sustainable agriculture
- Eco-construction
The program supports companies according to their level of advancement, whether it's to develop a first proof of concept or to help a startup with a viable product access the market.
Key Tool: VAIR Financing
One of the main tools of this program is VAIR financing, a hybrid financial support consisting of:
- 70% subsidy
- 30% repayable advance Specifically designed for startups in the ideation phase, this financing enables the realization of innovative ideas by helping to create a proof of concept.
Alignment with National Strategy
GreenTECH Tunisia is part of the Tunisian national strategy for a greener and more resilient economy in the face of climate change. The initiative is led by the Caisse des dépôts et consignations, in partnership with Smart Capital, as part of the Greenov'i project, funded by the European Union. This project is part of the Tunisia Green & Sustainable program, implemented by Expertise France in collaboration with several national institutions, including the Citet, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
