The Francophone Employers' Group (GPF) Launches its New "Small Luxury Industries and Crafts" Commission
The Francophone Employers' Group (GPF) officially inaugurated its new "Small Luxury Industries and Crafts" Commission on Friday, June 20, 2025. This strategic initiative aims to federate expertise from the Francophone space around high-value-added sectors.
Presidency of the Commission
The presidency of this commission has been entrusted to Mrs. Rachida Jebnoun, President of the International Council of Women Entrepreneurs (CIFE). This choice highlights the importance of female entrepreneurship as a fundamental lever for creating wealth.
Launch Ceremony
The launch ceremony brought together prominent personalities, including Anne Guéguen, Ambassador of France to Tunisia, who hosted the event.
Also present were Jean-Lou Blachier, President of the GPF, the President, members, and partners of the CIFE, as well as the group of Francophone ambassadors in Tunisia and numerous distinguished guests.
Keynote Address
In his address, Jean-Lou Blachier, President of the GPF, emphasized the significance of this initiative: "The launch of this commission is a key step for the GPF. It materializes our desire to federate talents from the Francophone space to build competitive regional value chains. By entrusting the presidency to the CIFE, we are highlighting the importance of our partnership with the CIFE and the interest accorded by the GPF to female entrepreneurship as a value creation lever."
Rachida Jebnoun's Address
Rachida Jebnoun expressed her pride: "It is an honor for the CIFE to preside over this commission. We are determined to make it a catalyst for innovative projects that anchor luxury crafts in a sustainable development approach. Our primary objective is to create a positive impact and dynamize cooperation between Francophone member countries."
Strategic Activities
During the presentation of the commission's strategic activities, a particular focus was placed on the role of small luxury industries and crafts as a driver of economic, social, and cultural development in the Francophone space.

This GPF body will act as a hub for initiatives, generating strong synergies between economic, cultural, and institutional actors from key countries such as Tunisia, Lebanon, Morocco, Senegal, and Madagascar.
