Ministry of Transport Launches Tender for 418 New Buses to Modernize National Fleet
The Ministry of Transport announced on Monday the launch of a tender for the acquisition of 418 new buses aimed at modernizing the national fleet. This initiative follows a decision made during a ministerial council meeting and a working session dedicated to improving public transportation services, in order to respond to the growing needs of citizens.
According to the ministry, 260 buses will be allocated to regional transport companies, 40 to the National Interurban Transport Company, and 118 to the Tunisian Transport Company. The objective is to strengthen capacities, particularly in urban transport, while ensuring a transparent and equitable distribution of buses among regions.
