Financial Inclusion Observatory Launches Correspondent Network in Tunisia

The Financial Inclusion Observatory (OIF) has organized a forum to announce the launch of its correspondent network, a fruitful collaboration platform between the OIF and various financial sector actors in Tunisia.

To achieve its missions, including data collection, setting up a database on access to financial services, monitoring the quality of financial services, and conducting studies on financial services, the OIF has solicited major financial sector players to designate correspondents from banks, payment institutions, insurance companies, and microfinance institutions.

The creation of this correspondent network aims to coordinate efforts and establish a relevant, effective, and sustainable cooperation between the OIF and financial sector actors, with the goal of developing exchanges and projects that promote the consolidation and strengthening of financial inclusion in Tunisia.

The objectives of the OIF correspondent network launch forum are:

  • To offer an opportunity for all OIF correspondents to meet and establish a direct and mutual exchange framework, enabling effective, constructive, and sustainable cooperation.
  • To inform and raise awareness among correspondents about their roles and contributions, which demonstrate their perfect adherence to boosting financial inclusion in Tunisia.
  • To jointly reflect on and define the exchange and collaboration mechanisms of the network engaged in promoting a more accessible and inclusive financial sector.

This OIF correspondent network constitutes the spearhead for establishing a formal and concerted exchange and collaboration framework with financial service providers. This forum will be a periodic meeting that will inevitably consolidate this dynamic, refine cooperation mechanisms, and discuss topics related to financial inclusion.
