Tunisia to Launch 5G Services by Mid-February 2025
The three telecommunications operators in Tunisia will be able to start marketing 5G services from mid-February 2025, announced Mehrzia Aouni, Director General of Communication Technologies at the Ministry of Communication Technologies, in an interview with the TAP Agency TV studio.
She specified that Tunisie Télécom, Orange Tunisie, and Ooredoo are ready for this transition, having put in place all the necessary technical and procedural mechanisms, as well as a network modernization for the deployment of 5G.
Aouni also reviewed the main stages of this project, which was developed in compliance with technological advances and the standards established by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and standardization organizations.
