Egyptian Ambassador to Tunisia Bids Farewell to President Kaïs Saïed
The Egyptian ambassador to Tunisia, Iheb Fahmi, paid a farewell visit to President Kaïs Saïed on Thursday, September 26, 2024, marking the end of his term.
During the meeting at the Carthage Palace, the President of the Republic praised the level of bilateral relations between Tunisia and Egypt, emphasizing the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation and historical ties between the two nations. Kaïs Saïed expressed his willingness to consolidate consultations and coordinations between the two countries for their mutual benefit.
On his part, the Egyptian ambassador thanked President Saïed for the support and hospitality he received during his stay in Tunisia, enabling him to carry out his duties successfully. He also highlighted the willingness of the Egyptian authorities, both at the leadership and people levels, to strengthen relations in various fields with Tunisia.
