Industrial Zones in Tunisia Take a Step Towards Environmental Sustainability

The Industrial Real Estate Agency (AFI) and the Energy Management Agency (ANME) have taken a crucial step towards promoting environmental sustainability in Tunisia's industrial zones. Under the supervision of the Secretary of State in charge of Energy Transition, the two entities have sealed a strategic partnership aimed at promoting energy efficiency and ecological planning in the country's industrial zones.

The agreement was officially signed during a conference titled "The Challenges of Decarbonizing Tunisian Industry: Towards Smart and Decarbonized Industrial Zones," where the challenges of reducing carbon emissions in the industrial sector were thoroughly debated and analyzed.

As part of this collaboration, a steering committee will be established to implement projects aimed at promoting energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint of industrial zones over a period of three years.

This initiative is part of a proactive approach to promoting environmentally friendly industrial practices and actively contributing to the fight against climate change.
