Tabarka Ain Draham International Airport Resumes Tourist Flights from Poland
Yesterday, Tabarka Ain Draham International Airport welcomed its first tourist flight from Katowice Airport in southern Poland. Operated by Polish airline Smartwings, the flight carried 189 passengers, in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and regional authorities.
The Ministry of Transport stated in a press release that the resumption of this flight is part of the efforts of the Civil Aviation and Airports Office to reactivate Tabarka Ain Draham International Airport and ensure its continuous availability.
The Ministry noted that the efforts of various airport stakeholders were combined to ensure its success, providing high-quality services, excellent organization, and a warm welcome that reflects a positive image of the facility and contributes to supporting tourist activity in the region.
The Ministry affirmed that these efforts are part of its strategy to strengthen the contribution of national airports to supporting tourism in inland regions.
