Tunisia Prepares to Host Quebec Economic Mission in April 2026

Tunisia is gearing up to welcome a Quebec economic mission in April 2026, dedicated to exploring business opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector. To launch this initiative, a webinar was held on February 25, bringing together around 30 Quebec companies and Tunisian institutional actors.

Webinar Program

The program included:

  • Presentations of investment opportunities
  • Testimonials from local entrepreneurs
  • Highlights of the country's pharmaceutical infrastructure

With over 40 factories covering nearly 80% of the national demand for medicines, a qualified human capital, and a structured regulatory framework, Tunisia is positioning itself as an attractive regional hub for the production of generics, research, and biotechnology.

Key Players and Infrastructure

Speakers emphasized the key role of the BiotechPole of Sidi Thabet and the National Agency for Medicines and Health Products in supporting investors. Tunisian industrialists also shared their experience of growth and local implementation. For Tunisia, the time has come to conquer North American investments and consolidate its role on the regional pharmaceutical scene.
