Nairobi to Host Tunisian Olive Oil Promotion Day
Nairobi will soon host a flagship initiative to promote Tunisian olive oil: the "Tunisian Olive and Olive Oil Promotion Day", an event that will bring together Tunisian exporters, Kenyan importers, and agri-food sector stakeholders from the region.
Organized by the Tunisian Embassy in Nairobi and the Export Promotion Center (Cepex), this event will take place on January 30, 2025.
The goal is to open up new commercial opportunities for Tunisian olive oil and its derivatives in the promising markets of Kenya and East Africa. The program includes presentations on the specificities and quality of these products, as well as a tasting session.
Participants will also have the opportunity to exchange with chefs from major hotels in Nairobi and local institutions.
Tunisian companies interested in producing or exporting olive oil, canned goods, or sauces based on olive oil are invited to submit their applications to Cepex before January 10, 2025.
