Tunisia Participates in the 29th Edition of the Muscat International Book Fair

Tunisia is taking part in the 29th edition of the Muscat International Book Fair, held from April 24 to May 3, 2025, in the Sultanate of Oman, under the theme "Cultural Diversity, Richness of Civilizations." The country will have three spaces dedicated to showcasing its literary offerings, courtesy of Latrach Éditions (academic and university publications), Masciliana Éditions (translation, thought, and creation), and the Tunisian Publishers' Union.

This edition coincides with the 39th Tunis International Book Fair and welcomes 35 countries, with Saudi Arabia as the guest of honor. The organizers have announced the participation of 674 publishing houses and the exhibition of over 680,000 titles, including nearly 50,000 new releases (2024-2025). Arabic books dominate with 467,000 references, while foreign language publications exceed 213,000. The fair also features 211 meetings and 155 animations designed for children.

Established in 1992, the Muscat Book Fair has become an indispensable cultural rendezvous in the region, fostering dialogue between authors, publishers, and readers around the transmission of knowledge, coexistence, and openness to the world.
