Launch of the National Register of Community Companies
The Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training has officially launched the national register of community companies, a new digital platform accessible at alahlia.tn. This portal aims to facilitate the creation, management, and monitoring of community companies in Tunisia, marking a significant step towards the digitization of administration.
Key Features of the Platform
The platform offers a complete digital journey, including:
- Online registration
- Access to legal texts
- Document space
- Secure data backup
- Tracking of administrative responses
Strategic Alignment
According to the Minister of Communication Technologies, Sofiane Hemissi, this project is part of the national strategy to modernize administration and achieve interoperability of digital systems, with the goal of bringing public services closer to citizens.
Economic Impact
From an economic perspective, Riadh Chaouad highlighted that the management of community company files now falls under his ministry, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 3 of 2025, which amends Decree-Law No. 15 of 2022. This new framework reduces the minimum number of participants and capital required to create a community company, while establishing the national register to strengthen sector governance.
Current State of Community Companies
The Minister also noted that Tunisia currently has 230 community companies, grouping around 15,000 participants, including 2,400 higher education graduates. Among them, 60 companies have already started their activities, generating 380 jobs, while 88 companies have received funding approval.
