This ranking is based on millions of tests conducted via the Speedtest by Ookla app, which uses the median download speed (expressed in Mbps) as its primary metric. Ookla also considers latency (ping time), upload speed, and network stability.
Morocco Leads the Continent
Morocco holds the top spot on the continent, thanks to an aggressive deployment of 5G and significant investments in fiber optics, resulting in speeds more than twice those of its closest competitors.
