The Tunisian Embassy in Cairo has announced that Egyptian citizens belonging to specific professional categories will now find it easier to obtain visas to enter Tunisia. This measure aims to streamline procedures at border control points for certain travelers.
Eligible Categories
According to the official statement, this facilitation applies exclusively to:
- Businessmen
- Researchers
- Doctors
- Holders of prestigious professions
- High-ranking officials
- Individuals with residences or visas in Europe (Schengen area) or the United States
- Tourist groups of more than ten people, organized by authorized Tunisian travel agencies, provided that a representative of the agency is present at the airport
Requirements for Simplified Entry
To benefit from this simplification, travelers must transmit the following documents to the relevant Tunisian authorities in advance:
- A complete nominal list
- Detailed program of the stay
- Return tickets corresponding to hotel reservations
- Copies of valid passports
- Justification of the mission or reason for travel These requirements aim to ensure effective control while facilitating the entry of eligible visitors.
