France Remains a Top Destination for Foreign Investment

France continues to shine as a preferred destination for foreign investment, ranking first in Europe for the fifth consecutive year. This attractiveness is confirmed by the EY France Attractiveness Barometer 2024, which highlights investors' confidence in the country.

Tunisia, with its 15 projects, follows this trend, ranking 15th and contributing 1% to the total number of projects, a stable share compared to the previous year when there were 10 projects.

Meanwhile, American companies still dominate the ranking, but their share decreased from 248 in 2022 to 215 in 2023. On the other hand, European investments account for over 60% of foreign direct investments (FDI) in 2023.

It's worth noting that international executives surveyed place France ahead of Germany and the United Kingdom in terms of image and confidence. In fact, 76% of them believe that France's attractiveness will improve over the next three years. These positive prospects are based on France's solid fundamentals: skills, infrastructure, and market.
