Tunisia Records 300 Million Dinars in Pharmaceutical Exports
According to Nadia Fnina, Director General of the Investment Promotion and Health Service Export Unit at the Ministry of Health, Tunisia has recorded approximately 300 million dinars in pharmaceutical exports.
Ambitious Target Set
Fnina revealed that the ministry aims to increase this figure to 1.4 billion dinars.
Emphasis on Creating Dedicated Export Companies
Fnina stressed the importance of establishing companies dedicated exclusively to the export of pharmaceuticals and medical products, given the numerous opportunities Tunisia offers in this sector.
Current Challenges
Currently, manufacturers themselves manage the export of their products, but many of them lack the necessary resources to explore new markets.
Need for Specialized Export Companies
During the same statement, the director highlighted that the lack of prospecting means for Tunisian manufacturers makes it essential to establish specialized export companies, in order to better exploit the country's potential in this field.
