A New Step in Tunisia's Technological Evolution

The Ministry of Communication Technologies has published decrees No. 2025-35, No. 2025-36, and No. 2025-37 in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic on January 21, 2025, marking the approval of the agreement allowing the national telecommunications company to deploy and operate a public telecommunications network for the provision of fifth-generation (5G) mobile services.

Signed on November 30, 2024, this convention paves the way for a major modernization of Tunisia's digital infrastructure. This project aims to offer fast and reliable mobile services, with expected benefits in various sectors such as industry, education, and healthcare.

Tunisia is thus taking a decisive step towards digital transition, with the ambition of strengthening its economic attractiveness and positioning itself among the technological leaders in Africa.
