President Kaïs Saïed Denounces Burden of Public Debt that Has Never Truly Benefited the Tunisian People

In this context, the Head of State affirmed that the 2026 finance bill must imperatively be part of the future national development plan. A plan that, according to his words, "must be anchored in the popular will." He insisted that only sovereign national orientations will be able to meet the expectations of the population.
Revision of Tax Laws and Job Creation
President Kaïs Saïed called for the revision of several tax laws, particularly those governing recruitment in the public sector. He highlighted the opening of new job opportunities for people in long-term unemployment, denouncing the inefficiency of previous policies.
Improved Preparation for Summer Season and Tunisians Abroad
The President gave instructions for better preparation for the summer season and the return of Tunisians living abroad. He demanded a welcome that meets their expectations, with simplified procedures, quality services, and total transparency.
