Tunisian Automotive Association and Tunisia Africa Business Council Sign Strategic Partnership at FITA 2025

The Tunisian Automotive Association and the Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) are announcing a partnership at the FITA 2025 event. This alliance aims to strengthen the Tunisian automotive sector's presence on the African continent and consolidate Tunisia's position as a reference industrial platform in Africa.

A Shared Vision for African Industrialization

This partnership is based on a shared vision of industrial development and South-South cooperation, leveraging the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and COMESA. Together, the TAA and TABC are committed to promoting Tunisian expertise in the automotive sector, particularly in electric mobility, smart manufacturing, and innovative components.

Concrete Operational Commitments

The agreement, signed by Mrs. Myriam Elloumi, President of the TAA, and Mr. Anis Jaziri, President of the TABC, includes:

  • Setting up an export support platform dedicated to Tunisian companies in the sector
  • Integrating African value chains and developing high-impact structural projects
  • Organizing events, B2B missions, and certified training programs in partnership with academic institutions
  • Regular exchange of information on market opportunities, industrial trends, and potential partnerships.

A Competitive Industrial Hub

On this occasion, the President of the TAA stated, "This partnership with the TABC allows us to align our ambitions with the growing needs of the African market. It embodies a clear will to make Tunisia a competitive industrial base, turned towards Africa." Today, the Tunisian automotive industry comprises over 280 companies, with a majority of exporters ready to support the establishment of new manufacturers, suppliers, and foreign investors.
