Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company Launches Electronic Payment Service
The Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (Steg) has announced the launch of an electronic payment service, available starting June 3, 2024. This service will enable customers to pay their electricity and gas bills through electronic payment terminals (EPTs).
According to an official statement published on Steg's Facebook page, this initiative is part of the company's efforts to contribute to the development of the national digital economy and minimize cash transactions.
This approach is part of a broader strategy aimed at strengthening proximity with customers and meeting their requirements through the use of advanced and secure technologies, as well as expanding the range of electronic payment solutions.
