Tunisian Startup Konnect Secures Funding from Renew Capital to Accelerate Growth
The Tunisian startup Konnect, specializing in digital payment solutions in North Africa, has obtained funding from Renew Capital to accelerate its development.
Founded in 2021 and approved by the Central Bank of Tunisia, Konnect offers intuitive payment links, e-commerce plugins, and a high-performance API adapted to businesses of all sizes.
Its services are specifically designed to optimize online payment experiences, providing fast, secure, and reliable transactions that support business growth and simplify exchanges in e-commerce.
Konnect has secured funding, the amount of which remains confidential, from Renew Capital, an impact investment firm focused on Africa, marking its first investment in Tunisia. These funds will enable Konnect to accelerate its development. By leveraging strategic partnerships, including with Visa, Konnect promotes the adoption of digital payments in the region, making secure and high-performance financial services more accessible.
Karim Ben Fadhel, responsible for investment ecosystem development at Renew Capital, stated that Konnect is setting a new standard for digital payments in the region. He added that Konnect not only simplifies financial transactions but also promotes greater financial inclusion.
