Open Access Energy Secures $750,000 in Funding to Drive Renewable Energy Solutions
Founded in 2022 by Gerjo Hoffman and Christoff Albertyn, startup Open Access Energy (OAE) has quickly made a name for itself with its innovative software solutions in the energy sector.
OAE has raised $750,000 in its first funding round led by Factor E Ventures. This funding represents the first phase of a larger funding round aiming to reach $1.5 million. The funds will be used to strengthen the company's impact in the renewable energy sector and address the energy challenges facing the country.
The investment from Factor E Ventures will enable OAE to refine its technologies, expand its operations, and consolidate its presence in South Africa and the SADC (Southern African Development Community) region.
