Handisuccess and CNPT Partner to Integrate Athletes with Disabilities into the Job Market

On Wednesday, February 5th, in Tunis, Handisuccess, a startup specializing in professional integration, signed a partnership agreement with the Tunisian National Paralympic Committee (CNPT) to support athletes with disabilities in their transition to the job market and entrepreneurship.

The partnership aims to provide opportunities for athletes to develop their skills and qualifications in various specializations through a series of training workshops and courses. These programs will focus on enriching their knowledge in business management and project launch, taking into account the requirements of job positions and the professional environment.

According to Mohamed Mzoughi, President of the CNPT, "Athletes with disabilities have a real need for initiatives that can prepare them for building a professional future after their sports career, enabling them to find a source of income, which is a challenging task for people with specific needs."

The CNPT will organize an open day after Ramadan, bringing together stakeholders from the sports and economic sectors, including the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training. The event will explain the content of this agreement to athletes in associations and specialized centers, allowing them to benefit from professional training programs and encouragement for private initiative.

As part of this agreement, Handisuccess will provide three platforms to support athletes with disabilities in their transition to professional life:

  • Handy Talents: A platform that connects businesses seeking to employ people with disabilities with job seekers from this category, facilitating the recruitment process and improving professional compatibility in accordance with the requirements of Law No. 41 of 2016 on the promotion and protection of people with disabilities.
  • Handy Training: A platform focused on the reeducation, psychological, and professional training of people with disabilities, enabling them to confidently integrate into the workforce.
  • Handy Artisan: A platform that offers athletes, entrepreneurs, artisans, and private business owners the opportunity to showcase their products while supporting businesses constrained by Decree No. 3087 to purchase these products annually at the minimum guaranteed wage rate due to their inability to recruit.

These platforms will provide athletes with disabilities the necessary tools and support to successfully integrate into the job market and build a fulfilling professional future.
