Sotumag Announces the Appointment of Two Independent Administrators
The Tunisian Wholesale Markets Company (Sotumag) has announced the appointment of two independent administrators to sit on its Board of Directors for a period of 3 years (2026-2028). This move is part of the company's efforts to strengthen its governance and comply with current legal requirements.
According to a statement published by the Financial Market Council (CMF), the deadline for submitting applications is March 26, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Applications must be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, by rapid mail service, or handed in against discharge at the following address: Tunisian Wholesale Markets Company - Sotumag, Naâssen Road, 2059 Bir Kassâa, Ben Arous. The outer envelope, addressed to the President and CEO of Sotumag, must bear the mention "call for applications: appointment of independent administrators."
Sotumag has also specified the eligibility conditions and required criteria, including the necessary academic qualifications and professional experience to apply.
According to the statement published by the CMF, a committee of independent administrator nominations will be responsible for evaluating the applications received within the specified timeframe. A preliminary list of candidates will be established by the Board of Directors and submitted for review to the CMF before final approval by the Ordinary General Assembly. The CMF may reject any candidate who does not meet the legal requirements.
Additionally, the selected candidates will be informed at least 21 days before the holding of the Ordinary General Assembly, which will rule on their appointment as well as the financial statements for the 2025 fiscal year.
