Sotrapil's transportation revenues have experienced a moderate increase of 5.6% to 4,116 MTND in the second quarter of 2025. The quantities transported have also seen an uptick, rising from 416,975 m3 in the second quarter of 2024 to 439,670 m3 over the same period a year later.
Pipeline Performance
The Bizerte-Radès pipeline remains the backbone of the company's activity, totaling 396,475 m3 and generating revenues of 3,597 MTND. On the other hand, a lower quantity transited through the Jet A1 Radès-Tunis Carthage pipeline, amounting to 43,195 m3, resulting in a 14.9% decline in revenues compared to 2024.
First-Half Performance
For the entire first half, the company is showing green figures, with revenues reaching 8,834 MTND. Semi-annual operating products have been established at 10,766 MTND, a 48.5% year-over-year increase. This is largely due to a favorable hedging position of 1,932 MTND.
Operating Expenses
Operating expenses have reached 4,958 MTND, down from 5,059 MTND last year. The decrease is attributed to personnel expenses, which have decreased by 2.3% to 2,877 MTND. Financial products have been established at 2,746 MTND.
Excellent Semi-Annual Performance
All these factors indicate an excellent semi-annual performance. This adds to a good 2024 exercise and a generous dividend that will be distributed on July 31. We have always recommended the title and reiterate our opinion, especially for risk-averse investors with a long-term horizon. You won't be disappointed.
