7th Annual ENSTAB Forum: Unlocking the Future of Enterprise Strength through Resilience
The 7th edition of the annual ENSTAB forum, themed "The Resilience Code: Unlocking the Future of Enterprise Strength," offered a unique platform to explore how businesses can strengthen their ability to survive and thrive in the face of current challenges. Organized by ETC Junior Entreprise, the event brought together experts and professionals around dynamic panels, each addressing a key aspect of organizational resilience.
Defining Resilience as a Crucial Competence for Modern Enterprises
This edition of the forum highlighted resilience as an indispensable competence for modern businesses. Whether facing economic, social, or environmental challenges, the message was clear: resilience is not only a response to crises but also an opportunity for innovation and transformation.
Fundamentals of Enterprise Resilience
The first panel axis shed light on the fundamentals of enterprise resilience. Moncef Ben Amor, Senior Manager at EY Tunisia, explained that resilience relies on three essential components: infrastructure, deployed technologies, and internal processes. According to him, these interconnected elements guarantee an organization's sustainability. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between these pillars to face crises and ensure business survival and competitiveness.
Adapting to Economic, Regulatory, and Technological Challenges
The forum also addressed the challenges businesses face, such as economic transformations, regulatory changes, and rapid technological evolution. Rapid and continuous adaptation of processes and costs is an essential response to maintaining the viability of economic models.
Environmental Resilience: A Global Challenge
Sihem Bourogaa, Senior Energy Lead at Deloitte, explored environmental resilience as a global challenge, particularly in the Tunisian context. With a energy mix dominated by 97% fossil fuels, Tunisia faces significant energy challenges. Bourogaa highlighted the carbon adjustment mechanism at the European Union's borders as an immediate challenge for businesses seeking to export. She stressed the need for organizations to prepare now to integrate sustainable solutions to remain competitive.
Managing Change in Organizational Transformation
Another central point of the panel was managing change in the context of organizational transformation. The speaker emphasized the critical role of managers in managing resistance and the importance of transparent communication. According to her, successful transformation relies on three axes: transparency, employee involvement, and adapted training to new tools, particularly in innovative areas like artificial intelligence.
To facilitate adherence, she recommended empowering teams and establishing regular communication channels. Transformation should not be imposed but perceived as a common goal, enabling each actor to become a true driver of change.
The Role of Partnerships and Ecosystems in Promoting Resilience
The forum highlighted the role of partnerships and ecosystems in promoting resilience. The speakers unanimously emphasized that the future of businesses depends not only on their internal adaptability but also on their integration into solid and collaborative networks.
