MAE Assurances Announces New General Manager
Hatem Amira to Lead the Company Starting June 1, 2026
The Board of Directors of MAE Assurances has announced the appointment of Hatem Amira as the new General Manager, effective June 1, 2026. He succeeds Lassaad Zarrouk, who has been leading the mutual insurance company since 2017.
About Hatem Amira
Hatem Amira has held several key positions in the insurance sector. Notably, he served as General Manager of the Tunisian Unified Automobile Bureau before being appointed, in 2020, as General Manager of the Tunisian Federation of Insurance Companies (FTUSA). In this role, he actively contributed to the development, modernization, and promotion of the insurance sector in Tunisia.

With over 30 years of experience in insurance, management, and governance, Hatem Amira's mission will be to continue developing MAE Assurances, strengthening its competitiveness, and supporting its ambitions for sustainable growth, innovation, and quality of service for the benefit of its members.
