Qualitative Growth for Employment (CQE) Project Launches Call for Expression of Interest for 20 Tunisian Industrial Companies
The Qualitative Growth for Employment (CQE) project is launching a call for expression of interest to select 20 Tunisian industrial companies. The selected companies will benefit from technical assistance to conduct a "Life Cycle Assessment" (LCA) on one of their products.
The CQE project is implemented by GIZ Tunisia, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the European Union.
This initiative aims to support companies in evaluating and improving the environmental performance of their products. The proposed assistance includes a comprehensive environmental diagnosis, expert monitoring, and a roadmap to optimize environmental performance. This approach can also constitute a strategic advantage in the face of new requirements from international markets.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, companies must meet the following conditions:
- Be a registered industrial company in Tunisia
- Have been in operation for at least two years
- Hold ISO 14001 certification or be in the process of obtaining it
- Have internal resources available for the mission
- Demonstrate financial stability
- Be available to fully participate in the assistance
- Not currently receive similar support
- Obtain the commitment of the company's top executive
