GIZ Launches Regional Decarbonization Workshops in Partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy
Sensitizing Tunisian Businesses to International Greenhouse Gas Accounting Standards
In partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, the GIZ is launching regional decarbonization workshops. These sessions aim to raise awareness among Tunisian businesses about international standards for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting, with the goal of overcoming potential obstacles related to carbon requirements on export markets.
Organized as part of the "Qualitative Growth for Employment" project, these workshops will enable participants to transform these challenges into opportunities for their development. The sessions will take place in five regions:
- Tunis: November 5
- Kef: November 6
- Sousse: November 7
- Gabès: November 12
- Gafsa: November 13
The project, funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, is a GIZ Tunisia initiative to strengthen the capacity of local businesses in the face of environmental challenges. Registrations can be made by email to: contact.cqe@giz.de.
