Launch of the "Small Industries and Luxury Trades" Commission of the Francophone Employers' Group (GPF)

The "Small Industries and Luxury Trades" commission of the Francophone Employers' Group (GPF) was officially launched today, June 20, under the presidency of Rachida Jebnoun, founder and president of the International Council of Women Entrepreneurs (CIFE). During this event, organized in the presence of France to Tunisia, Anne Gueguen, Ambassador of France to Tunisia, affirmed that this initiative is a key step to stimulate value creation and strengthen women's entrepreneurship within the Francophonie.

"The economy of women is elevated. The more economic development and wealth in our different countries," declared the Ambassador, highlighting the importance of capitalizing on women's entrepreneurial dynamism.

An Inclusive Commission, Aligned with Global Objectives

Anne Gueguen recalled that gender equality is "the key to progress on all Sustainable Development Goals," the 17 goals adopted in 2015, whose tenth anniversary is being celebrated this year. She emphasized that equality is not only a matter of social justice but an essential lever to achieve these global ambitions.

"The French Embassy, in all its components, remains mobilized by your side to accompany these dynamics, strengthen cooperations, and promote the way of a Francophonie that is entrepreneurial, inclusive, and innovative, relying on excellence, particularly from diasporas," she added, highlighting the vital role of Francophone diasporas as vectors of know-how and innovation.
